Along with Professor Miller duties for the second year teaching the Musical Theatre Workshop at CSUN, here is some exciting news hot off the press!
A newly formed Board of Directors joined with Artistic Director/Producer Janet Miller to announce the launch of a non-profit theater venture - the Good People Theater Company (GPTC)—and its opening show, LA's first fully staged production of the Terrence McNally, Stephen Flaherty and Lynn Ahrens piece, A MAN OF NO IMPORTANCE. As part of the Hollywood Fringe Festival, AMONI will play 13 performances over 4 weekends, June 7-30, at the Lillian Theatre, Fri./Sat. @ 8 PM, Sun. @ 2 PM, and a special 'Charity of Choice' benefit for BookEnds, Sat. 6/29 @ 2 PM. This wonderful non-profit was started by an 8 year old! BookEnds recycles used children's books to create libraries in schools and youth organizations in under-served areas of Southern California.
